Apparantly Russian cybercriminals are using flirting chatbots to lure people to sites exploiting flaws in their browsers and thus spreading malware:

Does this bot really "pass the Turing Test"? Probably, for some of the people, some of the time, it does. Unlike scenarios such as the Loebner Prize Contest, it is easier to fool chat clients when they are not expecting to "out the bot." And it probably only has to work 1% of the time, for the cybercriminals to cash in on their investment.
